Another thought-provoker! I also did a deep-dive on Princess Diana months ago. I have some thoughts. Gonna be succinct as possible:

1.) Princess Diana sought therapy in the late 1980s for her depression and bulimia. She wanted to undo the harm that was done to her body. She explored fitness approaches--including weight-lifting. There could be an unconscious gender-role reversal... the jury is still out.

2.) In the early 1990s, Princess Diana chopped off her hair, to the horror of her terrible husband. The daring new look empowered her. Before that, she wore tuxedo-esque formal wear and men's ties. She publicly challenged gender roles. Also, her secret night out with Freddie Mercury--iconic! This is reclaiming her identity vis-a-vis masculinity. I'm on board!

3.) Princess Diana's "Queer Adjacent" activities via HIV/AIDS activism. Not many people know Prince Charles was approached 1st to take on the HIV/AIDS crisis, and we know why he declined. Princess Diana took it on and did wonderful things. She had a genuine concern and wanted to help. She also helped undo stigma.

I think that's it! I hope my feedback is essential to the overall disccusion. Great work.
