I felt it was irresponsible to create this series. Ryan Murphy knew exactly what he was doing casting Evan Peters as Dahmer. This blurs the lines of reality & fiction. Evan Peters’ fanbase can’t separate the actor from the actual Dahmer. Also, depicting the Dahmer family from a sympathetic lens was problematic. Finally, adding inaccuracies or things that never happened further complicates matters. There was too much misinformation. My goal was to add much needed perspective & be a voice to the victims & the people Dahmer harmed. I appreciate you taking the time in reading my article & sharing your thoughts.
